Purchased a rug for our second bedroom today, Phil is such a nice bloke and great to buy from, he knows his stuff and his advice was spot on, our rug is super soft under foot and looks amazing and really dresses up the room... we will be back for another soon highly recommended, forget the others…

Inspiration
WHAT INSPIRES MY WORK
From an early foundation in art, drawing and furniture making, Phil Haddrick went on to study at art school in Melbourne, completing a Diploma of Art & Design with a focus on oil painting and fine-art technique. Alongside parallel passions for cricket and professional golf — where he became a PGA-accredited club fitter and junior coach — he continued to paint, draw and explore textile craft.
His career evolved into retail, opening several Brisbane rug stores and working closely with handmade carpets from around the world. Learning from Oriental specialists, he developed a deep appreciation for traditional techniques and contemporary textile design. Recently the work has transitioned towards custom-made rugs using high-end carpets, refining an approach grounded in craft, quality and design insight.
Arty & Co was established in 2019 and continues to evolve. The new Nerang showroom opening in January 2025.
